I am Sajed S. Ingilan , a 26 year-old Language and Literature instructor at the College of Arts and Sciences, University of Southeastern Philippines ( USEP ), Bo.Obrero, Davao City, Philippines and presently doing Doctor of Philosophy in Applied Linguistics at the University of the Immaculate Conception, Davao City. I finished the degree, Master of English in Applied Linguistics, last April 2011 and received the Meritorious Thesis Award. My undergraduate degree is Bachelor of Arts in English and awarded as Magna Cum Laude at USEP, and recipient of Senate President Manuel Villar Academic Excellence Award. My researches deal on Folk Literature, Syntax and Discourse Analysis which were presented in international conferences in Bali (Indonesia), Boracay (Philippines), and Bangkok (Thailand). I also served as the research consultant at the University of Malaya in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. I am one of the writers of the instructional materials in English 2 (Writing in the Discipline) and Literatures of the World, published by the Institute of Languages, USEP Davao.
