  1. I chose the article entitled "Relaxing at Britannia Group of Islands (Part One)."

At the first, I thought that Sir Sajed is visiting a chain of islands in the Pacific owned by Brits. But boy, I was really, really wrong.

As I read over the article, I realized that these islands are not found outside the country but instead, they can be found nearer than I expected it to be located as these were located in Surigao del Sur (*shame, shame*).

After reading the article, I concluded that despite all the pressure that work causes on a person, he/she still can find time to rest and relax his/her mind, body and soul. This is a freedom that every person could have and nothing, even a hectic schedule of mounting works, could stop him/her from doing anything that he/she wants do.

After all, a little leisure can do no harm, right?

Title: The Unplanned Travel in Cavite
Inference: The title implies that the author had an unexpected trip to Cavite.
Conclusion: The author enjoyed his trip in Cavite, Manila and Tagaytay. He was with his buddies and met new friends. He was in different destinations and had a lot of experiences. He would've not had all of these if his box just stayed closed to itself, just focusing on work and the usual days. Until now, even if the author has gone to his usual things again, remembering what happened in that trip serves as a catharsis for himself.

The article I chose is entitled "The unplanned travel in Cavite"
The first thing that came up to my mind when I read the title was that,
this is about trip which the author never planned and thought through.
I guess I might be correct because it's easier to infer something that has a title that describes everything about the article.
When I started reading the article, I wondered how the author ended up in cavite, now I see that the author took the opportunity of going with his friends/colleagues from samal island to Cavite.
Never would I have thought that you could simply board a plane to cavite that easily given the commotion here in mindanao, well maybe because there was coming to Luzon that week.
The author arrived in Cavite and visited some sites like the DSLU and SM in Dasma and also visited Tagaytay where he took a photo near the Taal volcano and Manila where they decided to stay in a hotel where he described manila as the gates of hell.
The author remenisced his experiences and shared it with through his blogs and with this I can say that any thing that is unexpected can turn out to be a memory to remember for the rest of your life.

  5. The title is unexpected travel in Cavite. The title tells that the whole article is about the unexpected travel or journey of a traveller. At first I don't think that the traveller is Sir Sajed and I was surprised that this unexpected travel is connected with his seminar. It is really unexpected.

The article's title the I've read was 'Exploring the City of Angels'. With the title itself, the article would probably contain things like heaven. Then it really is, with the trip to other country, experiencing the life there, and having the chance to socialize with others. Also the thing about 'boom-boom there' (I wasn't expecting this to be at that article. hahaha.). With the author's statements, he seems to enjoy his travel over there. It was not just a trip to present something, but also a vacation for him to enjoy.

The article that I have read is entitled "Exploring the City of Angels." Just with the title, not yet reading the whole text, means that he may have had a good time on where he went. He went to Thailand and he noted that USep cannot give the same treatment Thailand can give to its visitors. I can conclude that he really had fun may it be with the "pleasures" that can be found on the different corners of Thailand of just plain visiting to the country itself.

  8. The article I choose is entitled "Exploring the City of Angels". First I thought about the title that Sir Sajed visits a place that like heaven because he feels like an angel in that place. And as I read the article, the place is really the City of Angels because Sir Sajed found happiness and pleasure in exploring the City of Bangkok in Thailand.
Sir Sajed really enjoyed in exploring the place because he said that life is really beautiful in Thailand.!

Title of the Article:The Unplanned Travel in Cavite
The article implies that the author's trip to Cavite with his friends was not in their plan. The author's trip in Cavite was never in his mind neither his friends'. This Dr. Rodney, the head of the Filipino Studies Program at the University of Hawaii in Hilo, came up in his mind that it is nice to be in De la Salle Dasmarinas in Cavite with them in some discussion, so they made a quick decision and did immediately bought ticket for plane. While reading the text, I actually felt the feeling of joy and excitement going to the place. I shared with their happy experiences with the amazing place. Though I don’t personally visit the place, I could sense how people who went there really felt relaxed. Doing the island hopping, swimming on the clear water, and seeing the beauty of nature…it is really more fun in the Philippines! The people the visitor with contribute to the fun of the tour, how they enjoy the company with each other while spending their time there. The whole impact of the text to me is the sense of joy in exploring beautiful places with friends and loved ones.

The article that first caught my attention is the "A Summer to Remember in Boracay (Part 1)". By just first reading the title of the article itself, i could really feel and see that the summer vacation of the author was really a memorable one. He may have many vacations in the past and would possibly have more summer vacations in the future but the Bora vacation that he had would always be a part of the most unforgettable ones.

What makes the summer vacation of the author memorable doesn't just involve the excitement but the eagerness he had even before going and planning to go there. His overall experiences with the conference, the chance to meet a lot of people, the experience of paying a high fare and everything that's unusual all contribute to the fun and enjoyment that the author experienced. From this, i could see the nationalism that he had eagerly showed as to how he responded to the beauty of Boracay compared to the nice places he had also seen outside the country. Through reading his article, i could really see how he really love Philippines so much!

When reading the article, i realize that it is a perfect timing to go to places to relax for it is the last day the author will facilitate his EBP students in USeP. I agree of the statement of his friend, Jared, for I've gone to Britannia Group of Islands last year. We have the same point of view to the said place.
I concluded that the author had an unusual day of summer. Britannia, that is located in Surigao del Sur is a place that im proud and amaze of for it is a best place to relax and to remove stress from hectic and serious work. Reading this text makes me remember the times we had there in Britannia and how beautiful the place is.

  16. The article I choose was entitled “Relaxing at Britannia Group of Islands”. From the article itself I can infer that Mr. Sajed and Mr. Lex was both excited to set foot on the said Islands and had a blast being there. I say so, because from the article there was a statement on how Mr. Sajed dismissed his class earlier that the regular time just for them to travel and arrive in Butuan early. Another is when they were having a drive to reach their destination they were able to see islets which commence them to question if it is the same islets they would go to.

  17. Exploring the City of Angels

I'm thinking about a place where you can see beautiful women in every street of the city. If what i'm thinking is true, I want to live in that place forever.
Bangkok, Thailand is indeed a city of angels. I don't expect this country will be as beautiful as those modern countries. Large building rose high, a good place to relax. Also I want to hang out with my friends and try the night market in Silom.
Environment in Thailand is very different in the Philippines. There's a lot of new things I can experience there. And it would feel so new. But Thailand is such a great place to visit.

The article I chose was entitled “Relaxing at Britannia Group of Islands (Part One)”.

Basing on the title of the article itself, I can say that Mr. Ingilan was expecting to enjoy the moment in Britannia since it’s a nice place relax chill out. I can also say that Mr. Ingilan was excited when he was invited by his friends to go to Britannia. I got the idea that he was excited because of the statement “I dismissed my English Bridge Program class at 3 p.m. ”, in which it was not the normal time the English Bridge should finish. I can infer that the trip was tiring since it took 8 hours to travel to Butuan then travel again towards San Agustin where you can find Britannia Group of Islands.
In the end, I can therefore say that Mr. Ingilan enjoyed his vacation in Britannia Group of Islands. It may have been tiring to travel from Davao to Britannia because of the distance but it’s worth travelling for. He had even met new people coming from Davao which only proves that a lot of people like it there since there are lot tourists visiting the place. It was surely an unforgettable experience for Mr. Ingilan since he shared this experience to everyone. This only proves that there are a lot of place in the Philippines that are beautiful that we don’t need to go abroad just to experience this.

I picked to read the article entitled: “Relaxing at Britannia Group of Islands”. The title gave me an impression that the traveler took a breather at Britannia Group of Islands out of the city noise, work stress and stuffs that are suffocating for someone who is a professor and a researcher at the same time. I believed it’s a day when he had a time to unwind and embrace the solemnity of the island with his pals.
Reading the article and looking at the pictures, it makes one want to be there too. Indeed, the scenery is very astounding that one would forget all stress and be relaxed at the picturesque beauty of the island. Sir did surely had fun with his friends at the beach. From all the articles I have read, I chose "Exploring the City of Angels" because from the title itself is showing overflowing happiness the author experienced in his trip. According to him, Sir Sajed Ingilan, Bangkok is heaven so that's why he referred it as City of Angels. He spent his rests at Novotel Siam, a 4-star hotel in Bangkok giving him everything he want and need for a truly comfortable stay.

When the day of the 23rd meeting of the SEALS approached, the author was so amazed not only to the prestige, but also by its ambiance and environment. Sir Sajed also explored the Siam Paragon and went window shopping there. He experienced Chatuchak, which was the world's largest market, and of course bought pasalubongs there. I think that one of the factor that contributes to call Bangkok as City of Angels or Heaven for the author, as what he observed, it fosters and rammed the pleasure of sex since it is rampant there in Silom.

As a conclusion and generalization, Bangkok in Thailand, was indeed a heaven. By just merely reading Sir Sajed's experiences, he truly made me agree that Bangkok is a City of Angels.

The authors eagerness to go there made it more exiting because it is not only the view that could make the place beautiful but consider all the factors. The experience in the conference, meeting new people and the feeling of paying a high fair all contributed to his joyfulness. By that I could conclude that the author really show and believe to the beauty of the place, he shows nationalism in every word he wrote in the article. 30. With the onset of the “City of Angels” movie, and upon reading the title, what I thought was that these two ideas may be related. But I thought, is it likely that my sir would read these kinds of books? Well, there it goes; I neglected the idea, of course. My next hypothesis was that, because these are travelogues, this title might have something to do with the writer’s experience.

And I found out I was right.

The body of the write-up justifies the title. It proves that for the writer, Bangkok is really a paradise. From the moment of arrival up to the time of just strolling around the place, the writer describes utter paradise: a relaxing room with all the luxurious services one would need, free food, free accommodation, and even just the fun of going to relaxation for a while! And yet, we are not counting the main point of the writer’s visit, the one which he most delights in: presenting researches and making connections.

Maybe the reason why this article was entitled “Exploring the City of Angels” is that because heaven is an angel’s sanctuary, and the writer described the place as heaven. Well, no doubts about that.

And hey, BOOM BOOM did not pass unnoticed in my eyes, and I didn’t choose this article on purpose, haha.
